On December 7, 1941, Japanese planes under Admiral Ysoroku Iamamoto made a surprise attack on U.S. Pacific Fleet ships at anchor in Pearl Harbor. Two American pilots, Rafe and Danny, who grew up together as brothers, see their friendship tested by the love they both feel for a beautiful and sensitive nurse.
